We are excited to celebrate Alvey All-Star Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week from May 4th - May 8th! Join in the fun and show appreciation for our ALVEY ALL-STAR teachers & staff!
We DONUT know what we’d do without our Alvey All-Stars. We'll be serving coffee and breakfast in the staff lounge.
Parents: Highlight Reel: Record and email a quick video of your child sharing their favorite "highlight" from the school year. (e.g., "My favorite play was when Mrs. Wilson taught us about volcanoes!")
TACO ‘BOUT GREAT TEACHERS & STAFF! The Alvey All-Stars will enjoy Chipotle in the staff lounge for lunch to celebrate Cinco de Mayo!
Parents: NACHO Average Staff: On a small slip of paper (or a taco-shaped cutout), students write one thing their teacher does that is "extra". (eg. You are 'Nacho' average teacher because you make math feel like a game!")
Teachers & Staff will be spoiled by not having to worry about lunch that day. Room moms will coordinate a packed lunch for each teacher. There will be a sign up form for each teacher and/or staff member that does not have a room mom.
Fill the Facility: We're packing our classrooms with the MVP supplies - from dry-erase markers to tissues - to make sure our All-Star staff has a home-field advantage. Send in any school supply your student thinks their teacher, specialist or staff needs or wants.
Team Spirit: Students can dress in their teacher's favorite school sports team colors!

On Friday, May 2, room moms are welcome to come after school and decorate their teachers' door. The door can be as elaborate or simple as you want it to be. Sometimes, parents decorate on theme and sometimes they decorate based off of the teacher's interests. It is up to you. If you cannot come in that day, you may recruit help. There will also be a sign up form for all teachers & staff that do not have a room parent.
